The 2012 New Waves! Institute, is currently taking applications for its 2012 Artist-in-Residency Program, to be held from July 18th 2012 to August 1st 2012 in Trinidad and Tobago. This is a self directed residency which means that the artist is free to experiment and explore new directions in the production of their work. Interaction with other artist residents is encouraged through creative collaboration and informal discussion.

Trinidad & Tobago Entertainment Company (T&T Entertainment), a State Agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, invites qualified consultancy firms to submit tenders for the development of a Strategic and Action Plan for the Trinidad & Tobago Entertainment Company which will cover such remaining part of fiscal years October 2011 to December 2014.

One of Trinidad and Tobago’s premier rock n roll bands, jointpop, is currently on tour in the United Kingdom.  Jointpop has been on the local music scene since 1996 and has made an indelible mark on the musical landscape of Trinidad and Tobago. The band has toured extensively throughout the world carrying their distinct “trini-rock n roll” flavour with them.
