Generals in the Rapso army, 3Canal will be having the 6th installment of their Annual Emancipation Concert, ‘Freedom.com 6’. This takes place on Tuesday 26th July at the Little Carib Theatre, Corner Robert and White Streets, Woodbrook. This annual Emancipation concert seeks to interrogate the physical as well as spiritual significance behind emancipation.

The Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment Company has partnered with Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre (www.harbourfrontcentre.com) to showcase 3 Canal with their full band, the Cut + Clear Crew, who will kick-off the Island Soul Festival which runs from July 29th - August 1st, 2011. 3Canal will feature in a two hour long performance on Friday, July 29, 2011.

Freedom.com 6 will act as a precursor to the band’s Island Soul performance in Toronto, Canada. The Island Soul Festival is just one of the many activities put on by the Harbourrfront Centre to “nurture the growth of new cultural expression, stimulate Canadian and international interchange and provide a dynamic, accessible environment for the public to experience the marvels of the creative imagination.”
