The Trinidad & Tobago Entertainment Company Limited will once again be embarking on its Unplugged exhibition series. This is a project, geared towards showcasing the country's talented emerging artistes. Unplugged, presents artistes with the opportunity to showcase their work for key industry stakeholders inclusive of media, producers, promoters, marketing executives and the like. In addition to establishing this forum to showcase the work of local entertainment practitioners to the industry players, Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment has provided participants with workshop training that addresses issues pertaining to developing and sustaining careers in the industry such as management, stage craft, public relations, intellectual property management and financial planning.
On Thursday 25th August, 2011 Episode #2 of the Unplugged series will be held at the company's 47, Long Circular Road, St James office. The artistes to be featured are Darryl Lionel, Larry "Malik" Innis, Kimba Sorzano and North West Laventille Dancers. This episode will feature the emerging acts in a semi-acoustic, minimalist setting.
The Unplugged showcase is an invitation only event, but will be available to the general public via live streaming on the company’s website www.ttentonline.com and subsequently, will be available for video-on-demand viewing.
