CREATIVE INVESTMENT – THE EMERGENCE OF THE CARIBBEAN CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
The Creative Industries will be well represented at the upcoming Commonwealth Investment Forum (CIF) with no less than three opportunities for your involvement and participation. The Caribbean Investment Forum precedes the Trade & Investment Convention as an element of the Trinidad and Tobago Investment Week which will take place at the Trinidad Hilton from June 13th to 14th, 2011.
This forum is co-hosted by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC) and is designed to showcase investment opportunities in Trinidad and Tobago and across the region. The event also displays the potential of the Caribbean to act as a bridge between Commonwealth markets and the Americas. Delegations from Commonwealth countries and the Americas will be present while participants will include business leaders, investors and Government Officials.
If you are involved in the creative industries; whether you are a film maker, animator, producer, promoter, Steel Pan arranger, tuner, manufacturer, a potential investor, or have a passion for innovation in and the development of the creative industries, this is for you.

The Business of Carnival
The Caribbean has been known as the home of Carnival for over a century, with Trinidad and Tobago leading the way. This session will examine and consider the commercial opportunities for trade and investment in the diverse range of Carnival, products including Manufacturing, performance, events, with a particular focus on Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument, the Steel Pan.
