Jointpop To Tour UK/Europe

Trinidad & Tobago Entertainment Company Limited (T&T Entertainment) is proud to announce its continued support of one of T&T’s premiere alternative/rock groups, jointpop.

This September/October(2011), Gary, Damon, Dion, Phil and Jerome will tour the UK and Europe to promote their latest album “The Longest Kiss Goodnight” and continue to represent Trinidad & Tobago on the international stage.

Through endorsement by T&T Entertainment, the band will make several key performances, television appearances and radio interviews throughout London, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Copenhagen, just to name a few.

This venture is not the first for this talented group who toured the UK in November 2006. Their impact was such that, sponsored by T&T Entertainment, they soon returned for a second successful tour in June 2008. It was during this trip that jointpop received enthusiastic feedback and significant press attention in several online and hard copy publications including Metro UK, the Scotland Sun, the Falkirk Herald, Reverb Magazine and BBC Caribbean Magazine.

Leading up to their September/October 2011 UK/Euro tour, the band will be featured in many live performances. Today (Thursday May 26) at La Casa de Ibiza lounge in Woodbrook, Port-of-Spain, jointpop takes the stage at 10 pm for an acoustic session of live, local and original music. With a door charge of $40.00, the show begins at 8 pm. Then, on Saturday (May 28), fans of rock and surfing get a dual treat when jointpop performs alongside other local rock groups at the Carib Pilsner International Surf Festival 2011 in Sans Souci.
